CBP Committee Leader: S. Dirk Anderson CRISC, CISA, CBP
S. Dirk Anderson, is the committee leader for C4’s Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) committee. The CBP committee is a volunteer committee of industry professionals, who themselves have taken and passed the CBP exam.
Dirk has worked as a technology professional for 25 years; his focus on information security and cryptography led him naturally to blockchain technology.
He is now the CTO of SALT Lending, as well as an accomplished speaker on the topics of privacy, cyber risk, cryptography, and blockchains. Dirk was also a contributing author to publications such as the original “SANS Incident Handling Step-by-Step guide” and “Security 2020: Reduce Security Risks This Decade.”
It’s not only his merits that make him a valued asset to our C4 committee, but what he describes as his passion for “teaching people about Bitcoin and blockchain, and how to participate in the revolution that’s quietly happening all over the world.” You can see this passion for education in the Cryptography in Context course he taught at C4’s 2019 Blockchain Training Conference.
Dirk joined C4 in 2019 and has helped revise and improve our CBP exam and study guides. He shares our mindset of educating the masses about Bitcoin and open blockchains so people can make educated choices of how to invest their time and money in the crypto world.
